Ronald L. Goodrich of Akron passed away suddenly on July 7, 2009 at Akron General Medical Center from a brain aneurysm. Ronnie was retired from Goodyear after 30 years of service as a painter. Survivors include sons Scott and wife Rose, Kenneth and wife Holly and Jerald and wife Amy. Also surviving are grandchildren Kyle, Amanda, Seth, Olivia, Andrew and former wife of 37 years and the mother of his children, Shirley. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road in Akron. Calling hours are scheduled for Saturday, July 11th from 1 to 3 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at the funeral home.
