Ronald J. Lanzdorf, 80, passed away on March 28, 2018. He was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on May 13, 1937 to the late Alexander and Bertha Lanzdorf. Ron proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was co-owner of the family business, L&L Fab Company for 18 years. Ron had a lifelong passion for cars. He collected and restored classic cars along with racing go-carts and drag racing. He was an avid sports lover. His business sponsored several golf outings, softball teams, and bowling leagues and he enjoyed playing those sports as well. In his free time, Ron took meticulous care of his lawn and lakes and loved feeding the birds. Ron will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Marjorie Lanzdorf; children, Leonard Lanzdorf (Terri Keller) and Ginger (Cliff) Skinner; grandchildren, Joshua (Christina) Silvis, Ariane Lanzdorf (Jarred Corona), Matthew Lanzdorf (Elizabeth Putt), Shauna Lough, and Alexander Lanzdorf; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Ron will be privately laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. at the Streetsboro American Legion, 10001 Aurora-Hudson Rd., Streetsboro, OH 44241.
