Ronald L. Mauk

Ronald L. Mauk, 90, passed away December 28, 2022 at home with his family by his side. Born in Gallitzen, PA to John and Mae (Seymore) Mauk, he resided in the Akron area all of his adult life. Ron was a proud U. S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He had a lifelong career in carpentry. Ron enjoyed collecting and showing his cars, woodworking, playing golf, bowling and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Louise; 6 siblings. He will be sadly missed by his children, Rick (Alania) Mauk, Tammy (Ron) Sanner, Jodie (Dave) Brown; grandchildren, Amber, Megan, Lexi, Brittany (Jared), Brooke (Sean), Brier (Jake), Mason, Skylar; great grandchildren, Kyndell, Bentlee, Willow, Emrynn, Campbell, Shade; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will take place Monday, January 9 at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Ron's name to Visiting Angels or Summa Hospice.
