Ronald R. Rollins
October 6, 1944 — December 28, 2019
Ronald R. Rollins passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019. He joined his high school sweetheart and wife of 58 years, Sandra Gail Rollins (Burton), who passed away in November of 2019. Ron was a coin collector, Chevy enthusiast, retired rubber worker and an all-around wheeler and dealer.
He is survived by his four children - daughters, Sheila (George) Rose, Lori Smith, Jessica (Jesse) Baker and son, Ronald S. Rollins. Ron was a loving grandfather to Todd Lorraine, Tony Greathouse, Curtis Rollins, Dillon and Dakota Rose, Wesley and Nick Smith, Jacob,Colton and Caleb Baker. He also had 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. Visitation will be from 6-7pm. Cremation has taken place.
