Ronald "Ronnie"D. Papa

Ronald "Ronnie" D. Papa, 67, of Akron, passed away on May 1, 2016. He was born on December 31, 1948 in Akron, OH. Ronnie will always be remembered as a social butterfly who loved to make everyone around him laugh. Ronnie was a businessman with many successful ventures throughout his life as well as a 17-year employee at UPS.

Ronnie was preceded in death by parents, Dominic and Teresa Papa, and sister, Camille Goodwin. He is survived by sons, Jamie Davis, Dominic (Katie) Papa, and Terry Papa; daughters, Nikki Davis, Tara (Jason) Hall; stepdaughters, Lena Sigmond, Sherreen (Ken) Batts; grandson, Vincent; granddaughters, Isabella, Alyssa, Hayley, and Avarey; brother-in-law, James Goodwin; nephew, Brian; nieces, Gina (David), Tina (Bill); great-nieces, Katelyn (Will), Amanda (Steven), and Sariah; special friends Debbie and Cheryl; several other family members and friends.

Family will welcome visitors for a casual memorial celebration on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 2-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
