Ronald E. Thomas

Ronald E. Thomas, 63, of Akron, went home to be with his Savior Jesus to be whole and in perfect health. Ronald was born January 5, 1942 and raised by his Bible teaching, God fearing parents, Rollo and Jewell Thomas. Throughout his career, Ronald worked in homebuilding, as a machinist at Goodyear Aerospace, and for Western Reserve Academy. He attended Springfield Assembly of God where he enjoyed worship, fellowship, and greeting people as an usher. Ronald shared the gospel with many people throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Rollo Thomas and son, Ronald Thomas, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wanda; mother, Jewell; daughters, Tisha (Dean) Bond and Sherry (Brian) Terjung; sisters, Janet (Bill) Westfall, Susan (Patrick) Mullens, and Cynthia Evans; grandchildren, Kayla, Andrew, and Madison. A funeral service will be held Monday at 12 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with Pastor Mark Hadinger officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
