Ronald Thomas Butcher
Ronald Thomas Butcher, 72, of Akron, passed away January 9, 2013. He was born in Akron on August 24, 1940 to the late Prince and Josephine Butcher. Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Army. In his free time he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed keeping up with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Darren (Amee), Brian (Tracy), Randy and their mother, Lorene; sister, Penny Hollenbach; brother, Mark; grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, and Katherine.
Visitation will be Monday January 14 from 11-1 followed by a 1:00 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Terry Baker officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery.
