Rosalie Sample

Rosalie "Rose" Sample, 85, passed away peacefully July 16, 2023 with her family by her side. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Harry and Gay (Woofter) Siegrist, she resided in the Akron, Ohio area all of her adult life. Rose enjoyed flower gardening, floral design and creation, cooking, baking, shopping, teaching and spending time with her loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin "Doc"; great grandson, Rowan Zane Jablonski. She will be sadly missed by her children, Jeff (Tina), Steve, Vicki (Nancy); grandchildren, Jessica (Tim), Emma (Jose), Nathan, Stephany (Megan), Hannah, Isabella; great-grandchildren, Jensen, Maddy, Mikey, Stevie; sisters, Norma, Connie; other family and friends.

Everyone is invited to visit Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. A private burial will take place later. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Rose's name to the Alzheimer's Association/Donate to fight Alzheimer's Disease.
