Rose Marie Brown
August 28, 1938 — April 18, 2024
Rose M. Brown received her wings to the Lord's Kingdom surrounded by her family. She was born in Akron, Ohio and attended East High School and furthered her education at Ohio State College where she received her Associate Degree.
She was a homemaker until she went to work for the Industrial Commission and retired with 25 years of service. She was a member of Mount Zion Church and then became a member of People's Baptist Church where she was on the usher board and the women's auxillary.
She loved to be with family and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Otha and Beatrice Cooper; husband, Zellers Brown; son, Terrance Brown; and aunt, Anna Rochelle.
She leaves to cherish her memory; son, Deacon Phillip Brown; daughter, Eyvette (Robert) Dubose; brother, Ben (Barbara) Cooper; granddaughter, Tanish Brown; niece, Trena Trammell; and great-niece, LaMyria Trammell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
A Graveside Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park (2580 Romig Road, Akron, OH 44320) is scheduled for Friday, April 26, 2024 at 12pm with Pastor Robert Lee officiating.
