Rose Marie Rzeszotarski

Rose Marie Rzeszotarski, age 87 of Peninsula, Ohio, died on January 7, 2022 at the home of her daughter in Medina.
She was born on July 11, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Rose (nee Turk) Gaul.
Rose loved to flower garden, play bingo, the lottery and she enjoyed being in the outdoors, walking. She was also in the Mickey Gilley fan club, she was a personal friend of his. Rose never knew a stranger!
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and her animals.
Survivors include her children, Ernest (Valerie) Rzeszotarski Jr, Gary (Deana) Rzeszotarski Sr, Linda (Joseph) Rinal; daughter-in-law, Sandi Rzeszotarski; her grandchildren, Kristen (Alan) Kurilich, Scott (Crystal) Rzeszotarski, Robert Rzeszotarski, Gary (Leanne) Rzeszotarski Jr, Kelly (Jeff) Clifford, Lisa Johnson, Brian Rzeszotarski, Austin (Amy) Healey and Autumn (Joel) Kelly; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Rzeszotarski Sr on June 7, 1974, they were united in marriage on November 28, 1953; her son, Robert Rzeszotarski; one great-grandchild; and her siblings, Richard Turk and Robert Gaul.
There will be graveside services at St. Jacob Lutheran Cemetery, 1460 State Street NE, Canton, Ohio on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM, where her grandson Gary Rzeszotarski Jr will celebrate his grandmother's life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Medina County Humane Society, 6334 Deerview Lane, Medina, Ohio 44256, in Rose's memory.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
