Rosemarie Nolfi Brittain

Rosemarie Nolfi Brittain, "Rose", age 82 of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died on November 16, 2022 in Akron, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 7, 1940 in Akron, the daughter of the late Guido and Cornelia (nee Ross) Vardon; wife of the late Jacque Brittain Sr; sister of the late Chuck and Nancy Vardon; and great-grandmother of the late Addilyn Smith.

Known for her family devotion, Rosemarie loved traveling, dancing, playing cards, cooking, baking and anything involving time spent with family and friends. Rosemarie had a giving heart and was a kind soul, she was very giving and would help anyone that was in need. Rose is loved and will be missed by all her knew her.

Rosemarie was a loving mother to Dave (Lynn) Nolfi, Kathy (Jon) Weaver and Michael (Tina) Nolfi; seven grandchildren, Daniel (Ashley) Smith, Jarod Smith, Matthew (Taylor) Nolfi, Jonathan (Taylor) Weaver, Erica Weaver, Christopher Nolfi and Kirsten Nolfi and many nieces, nephews and friends including childhood friend for over 70 years, Jeanie Allshouse.

Also surviving is her brother, Ronald Vardon.

Private graveside services were held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron, where she was laid to rest with her loving husband Jacque.

A special thank you to their cousin and Rose's niece, Michelle Scaglione, for being there with them through her last several weeks and moments.

Rosemarie's family has requested that you celebrate her memory with an act of kindness as she did throughout her life.
