Rosemarie Wolverton

Rosemarie Wolverton, 69, of Mogadore, was returned to Sender, Our Lord, on January 20, 2007. She was a member of Unity Church in Tallmadge. Rosemarie loved to travel and enjoyed working in her flower gardens and decorating her house. She loved her many friends and relatives, especially her husband James and her boys, Rob and Greg who always cheered her up. She belonged to Annevar Herb Garden Club and the Red Hat Society until illness took over. She fought a battle with scleroderma and then the disease turned inward to pulmonary hypertension. She retired from Portage County Auto Titles and also worked at AAA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mercedes Sowers. Rosemarie was the devoted wife of her husband, James Wolverton; cherished mother of sons, Robert Lemon and Gregory (Pam) Lemon; stepchildren, Thomas (Pam), David (Marsha), Linda, Rebecca, and Mary Beth Wolverton; siblings, Jon (Beverly) Johnson, Lora (Tom) Love, Sue (Tony) Puleo, Mike (Paulette) Sowers, Pam (James) Gargano, Fred (Nancy) Sowers, Jr., and Sandra (Denny) Simmons; grandchildren, Jessyca, Neana, Eric, Michael, and Jason; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Tyler Lemon; aunt and second mom, Delores Alexander and uncle, Joel Alexander; many treasured cousins, especially Cricket and Jill; a host of wonderful friends that meant so much to her; sister and brother-in-law, Bernie and John Raber; and many nieces and nephews; and her wonderful dog, Jax. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment at Grandview Memorial Park.
