In Memory Of - Rosemary King

Rosemary King (nee Sandusky) passed away Tuesday February 25, 2025 at Concordia at Sumner in Copley, Ohio.  Rosemary was born in Connellsville, PA on August 1, 1940 to Paul and Estella Sandusky.  She was the youngest of 10 children.  Rosemary graduated from Connellsville High School and attended Thiel College.

Rosemary worked as a secretary for the Medina YMCA and Medina County Achievement Center and then worked as a bank teller for FirstMerit Bank.

She is survived by her loving husband, Frank L King, who is also a resident of Concordia at Sumner.  They enjoyed 59 years of marriage and would have celebrated their 60th anniversary in May 2025.

Rosemary is also survived by 3 children, Geoff King (Gabby), Jen Krepp (Eric), and Heather Nichols (John Barabas); grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren, Melissa, Nathan, Olivia, Katie, Matthew, Noah, and Michael; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Rosemary was a longtime Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and an Ohio State fan (except when they played Penn State).  She enjoyed reading and musicals.

The family is planning a private memorial at a later date.  In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
