Rosemary Lowery

April 29, 1933 — March 28, 2021

Rosemary Lowery, 87, formerly of Warren, OH passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 in Stow. She was born April 29, 1933 in Warren; the daughter of Andrew J. and Anne (nee Malinowski) Potozney. She graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1951.

She married her high school sweetheart, William R. "Bill" Lowery on April 24, 1954 at Christ Episcopal Church in Warren.

Rosemary worked as a bookkeeper, then teller for The Second National Bank of Warren for 30 years and was a production line supervisor at AVI Food Systems for many years. She served on the Vestry and volunteered in the kitchen at Christ Episcopal Church, and for Mobile Meals. She was active in the Friends of the Warren Library and managed their annual book sale for over 25 years. She and Bill were recognized for their volunteerism and she is honored by the library in the Trumbull County Women's Park. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading and baking.

In addition to her beloved husband of 67 years, she leaves behind four daughters; Patti (Steve) Shimko of Liberty, Dr. Susan (Michael) O'Connell of Tallmadge, Anne Lowery (Tim Calvert) of Wooster, and Amy (George) Morgan of Bay City, TX; six grandchildren, Thomas (Heather) Shimko of Liberty, Scott (Nikki) Shimko of Hudson, Ryan Shimko of Youngstown, Katie (Chauncey) Breiby of Gilbert, AZ, Jeffery Schultz of Ashland, and Brianna Rose Morgan of Bay City, TX; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In compliance with Rosemary's wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be buried at Pineview Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Friends of the Warren Library or a local animal shelter of the donor's choice.

The Lowery family wishes to thank Crossroads Hospice Akron and the nurses and aides at The Landing of Stow for their loving support and exceptional care.
