Rosilyn E. Warren

Rosilyn Elizabeth Warren, age 74 of Akron, Ohio, passed away to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Pebble Creek Skilled Nursing Center after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer.
She was born on November 6, 1943, in Charleston, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Russell Alexander Knight and Alma Lorraine (nee O'Neil) Knight. She lived briefly in South Carolina before moving to Daytona Beach, Florida, where she created the sweet, unforgettable memories of her young childhood. Employment took her family to Akron, Ohio when she was an older child, where she spent the remainder of her life. Rosilyn was a 1961 graduate of Central Hower High School. She loved work and felt privileged to be employed for many years at Goddard Ford, Summa Health Care, and a couple of Doctor's offices in the Akron area. With her whole heart, Rosilyn gave her life serving her friends and family. In her spare time she enjoyed doing genealogy work for her ancestors, telling and listening to stories about family, spending time with her dogs, reading good books, cooking, and especially loved gardening with her daughter, Jamie.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Tallmadge Ward, and had great faith in her Heavenly Father's Plan of Salvation and in her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her niece, Bridgette (Dru) Wright of Idaho; nephew, Jerry (Shelly) Bevington of Ohio; nephew, Troy Mick of Washington; and many great nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, Rosilyn was preceded in death by her husband, David Henry Warren in 2015; her beloved daughter, Jamie Huffer in 2015; her sister, Sheryl Mick in 1985; and her sister, Karen Bevington in 1997.
Ros will be missed for her sweetness and ability to make everyone she came in contact with feel loved. She had a way of leaving them better than she found them. She will be deeply missed and always be remembered as the "Princess Warrior."
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, OH from 5 to 6pm with service to follow at 6:00 p.m.. Private Burial will be held at the convenience of the famliy in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd. , Seville, OH.
The family would like to thank all those who visited and cared for her, providing comfort in her last days.
