Rosina E. Habel, 78, passed away January 3, 2012. She was born in Hungary to Desider and Rosina Mueller, and came to America when she was 17. Rosina was a long time member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Tallmadge. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, cooking, spending time with her friends and family. Short in stature, but great in presence and personality, she was Grandma to everyone she met. Rosina was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Gregor, with whom she enjoyed traveling and camping across the country. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Habel (Kevin Jividen); grandchildren, Nicholas (Kara) Burdohan, Kylee Burdohan, and Scott Ferrell; great-granddaughter, Adalai Rosina Burdohan; and many other loving family members and friends. Calling hours will be held Friday, January 6, from 4 to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7, at 11 am at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 158 North Ave, Tallmadge, with Pastor Bill Michaels officiating.
