Ross Hamilton

Ross Hamilton, 58, of Tallmadge, formerly of Manchester, went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2020. He was born on December 9, 1961 in Barberton, Ohio. He graduated from Coventry High School in 1981 and was the football team manager at Manchester High School. Ross was an avid reader and loved to watch movies. He enjoyed music and especially loved the Beatles and the Go-Go's. In his free time he loved taking long walks and spending time with family. Ross was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anna Hamilton; brother, Michael Hamilton; nephew, Anthony; special cousin, Jenny Augsburger; and grandparents, James and Mamie Hamilton and Thelma Unger. He will be dearly missed by his stepmother, Doris Mapes; siblings, Scott Hamilton, Robin (John) Christianson, Lynn DeLuca, and Debbie (Tom) Cowell; nieces and nephews, Matthew Marcrum, Christopher DeLuca, Elizabeth (Gildas) DeLuca-Kontchou, James (Meghan) Martin and their daughter, Ella, Robert (Jenn) Logsdon, and Adam Logsdon; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 11-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service with Pastor Joe Pryor officiating at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Manchester Cemetery.
