Roxie Erma Pigott, lovingly referred to as Grandma, passed away September 29, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was born July 28, 1929 in Burchfield, WV. She moved to the Akron area in 1947 and spent the last years of her life in Ravenna. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James and her son, John. Roxie leaves to cherish her memory, children, James (Barbara aka her third daughter), Vicki (Gary), Sanda (Mike) and Patrick; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Roxie is best remembered for her sense of humor, reading and her love of gambling. A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 330-784-3334
