Roy B. Grimsley, Jr.
Roy "Bud" Grimsley, passed away on April 5th, 2011. Born on June 25th, 1922 he was 88. Preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Martha Grimsley; sister, Helen Hunt; and loving wife, Joetta Jean. He leaves behind his sister, Lois of CA; sons, Roy J. Grimsley and Cody LaRusso; daughters, Kim (Bill) Lambert, Tami (Robert) Asher and Michele LaRusso; grandchildren, Roy P. Grimsley, Cody Grimsley, Bill Lambert, Leah Lambert, Savanah, Anna, Jessica, Joetta Asher, Heidi and Heather Epling; great-granddaughters, Mya Lambert and Amber Peck. He attended Springfield High School then served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Upon returning he worked for Firestone until retirement at age 62. An avid sports fan, he rarely missed a game on television and was an exceptional golfer most of his life. He was a giving, caring husband, father, grandfather and an honest man that will be greatly missed by all. There will be a private family service at Harmony Baptist Church in Tallmadge.
