Roy D. Stein

Roy David Stein, age 54, of Kennesaw, Georgia, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, July 11, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer, during which time he inspired and encouraged those around him. After surviving a heart attack in 1994, Roy passionately surrendered his life to the Lord, Jesus Christ. He pursued Jesus with everything that was in him. Roy is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Brenda Stein. His three children: Michele Tomczak, son-in-law, Jason Tomczak, and daughter, Heather Stein, grandson, Jonathan Tomczak. Two sisters Delores Batchlett and Cheryl Dixon along with his two brothers, Havard Stein and Larry Stein. Roy also had many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Eileen Stein and sister, Barbara Morris. "To be absent from the body is to be present with Jesus", we will see you again precius husband and father. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Mr. Richard Wright officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
