Roy H. Greathouse

Roy H. Greathouse, of Uniontown, passed away on November 22, 2023, just eleven days after his 99th birthday. He was born on November 11, 1924 in Clendenin, West Virginia to the late Virgil and Flora Greathouse.
Roy retired from General Tire after over 30 years of service. He was a very hard worker and made friends wherever he went.
Roy was an avid bowler in his younger days and he loved working outdoors, mowing the lawn and tending his garden.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Letha Greathouse; and his five siblings, Evelyn Harold, Virginia Bailey, Margaret Greathouse, Jeanette Goodall, and Arleigh Greathouse.
Roy will be dearly missed by his daughters, Peggy Winn and Judi (Jack) Steinbrink; grandchildren, Scott (Karen) Winn and Julie Powell; great-grandchildren, Ashley Winn and Breanna Winn; and niece, Dawne Church.
Per Roy's wishes, he will be privately laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Akron Canton Food Bank or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
