Roy W. Hamrick, Sr., 85, of Akron, passed away May 19, 2006. Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie L. Hamrick. He is survived by his children, Jo-Ann B. Hayes (Ivan), Roy W. Hamrick, Jr. (Amy), Vera L. Smallridge (Clint), Eileen Carol Hall (Charles), and Karen K. Gilbert (Fred); and many beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N.Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
