Ruben F. Suttle
Ruben F. Suttle, 71, passed away on Jan. 27, 2005 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 18, 1933, in Bellburn W.V. to the late Harry and Nellie Suttle. He had resided in Akron for most of his life. Ruben graduated from Greensburgh High School, where he also belonged to the Alumni Association. He worked at Goodyear for 33 years. Ruben was a member of the Ravenna 1234 Moose Lodge. He was also a Past Master at Masonic Lodge #316 Rockton-Kent , and a member of Masonic Lodge #194 Cuyahoga Falls, and a member of the Masonic Benefit Association. Ruben belonged to the ABC bowling league and was the Secretary/Treasurer for the Craftsman Bowling Association. He was an avid sports fan as well. Along with his parents, Ruben is preceded in death by his cousin, Eugene Schoolcraft. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carolyn (Wasson) Suttle; daughters: Cheryl L. (Jon) Wagoner of Akron, and Joann J. (Jack) Morrison of Akron; son Michael F. Suttle of Akron; brothers: Glenn (Karen) Suttle, and Maynard (Linda) Suttle, grandchildren: Michael, Kurtis, Deanna and Victoria, as well as a good friend and hunting buddy, Don Croft. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice Care Center for all the care for Ruben. Calling hours will be on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005 from 5-8 Pm at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305 with a masonic service at 7:00 PM, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM, with Dr. Charles Billington officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
