Ruby Gainer

Ruby Gainer slipped away peacefully Christmas Eve in the loving company of her family, to be with the Lord, her husband Earl and her son Michael Roy. Ruby was born June 6, 1921 in Deerlodge, Montana and was a resident of Akron, Ohio for the majority of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Her kindness and generosity will be greatly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Ruby was the thread that held the family together. She was a mother to all who knew her or needed her. Ruby will live on through acts of kindness to others. Preceding her in death were her husband Earl and son Michael Ray. She is survived by daughters Patricia (Bud) Arnold, Jeannie (Bill) Chester, Earldine Sommers (son Bobby); 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; her dog Magic; an abundance of friends, family and all those who knew her as "Mom."
