Russell Boyce, 82, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. He was born on December 4, 1930 in Akron, Ohio to the late Fred Boyce and A. Mildred Boyce-Gall. Russell served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the US Postal Service, Ellet branch as a Letter Carrier.
Russell is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Bernadine (McFadden) Boyce, children; James M. Boyce, Karen (Gary) Wise and Linda (Jerry) McClain, brother, Robert (Wilda) Boyce, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, 3-4 pm. Burial will be at 9:30 am on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
