Russell L. Carter

Russell Lee Carter, 44, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 29, 2025.

Russell was born June 5th 1980 to Denise R. Wright and Russell T. Carter in Illesheim, Germany. He resided in Akron until moving to Pittsburgh, PA in 2010.

In his spare time he liked to play card games and dominoes. He also liked to watch crime and cooking shows. He enjoyed spending time with family and was always joking around. He wanted to be an accountant at some point. He would study from different books. Overall, he was a good man with a kind heart and will be dearly missed. 

He leaves, to cherish his loving memory, parents Denise R. Wright and Russell T. Carter, daughter Shaunteenaye Carter, brother Shamar L. Carter, Special friend Billie Wright of Pittsburgh, PA, and a host of other family & friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00pm on Thursday, Feb. 13th, at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where funeral services will be held at 1:00pm with Pastor Curtis Minter officiating.
