Russell J. Kovach

Russell J. Kovach, age 51, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at his home. He was born on December 15, 1961 in Akron, Ohio to Don Kovach and Linda Blakey. Russ worked over 30 years in the printing industry and was well respected as a coworker and supervisor.

Russ is survived by his loving family and wife of 33 years, Cecile M. Kovach, children; Tonya (Mike) Campbell, Hope (Mike) Brafford and Joel (Joyce) Price, father, Don (Shirley) Kovach, siblings; Kathy and Jennifer, 6 grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda and sister, Kelly.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Friends may call two hours prior to the service, 1-3 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
