Russell Thomas Hart, 49, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2009. Russell was born December 5, 1959. He was employed by Uniontown Septic and was a longstanding member of the Mogadore Moose #1082. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and bowling and was an avid OSU fan. He was preceded in death by his father, John Russell Hart and brother, Robert Hart. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Becky; mother, Louise Hart Lumley; daughters, Diana Hart, Jessica Edgington, and Sarah Kight; siblings, John (Laurie) Hart, Michael (Melanie) Hart, and Kyra Badalucco; grandchildren, Zachary Edgington, Avery Phillips, and Spencer Phillips; very special uncle and aunt, Ray and Shirley Hart; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday from 12-1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Ellet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family c/o Newcomer Funeral Home.
