Ruth Angeline Ruby (Nee Epling)

Ruth Angeline Ruby, 80, of Akron, passed away March 4, 2013. She was born in Pikeville, KY on July 30, 1932 to the late Estel and Carie Epling.
Ruth loved watching Wheel of Fortune, playing bingo, where most of time, she won. Ruth was a homemaker and a wonderful caregiver. She was a survivor of breast cancer. Most of all, Ruth loved telling people about her Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Charlton and Ray Ruby; brother, Chester and Virgil Epling.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Steve Ross)Harper; grandchildren, Stacey Harper and Stephanie Harper; 7 great-grandchildren, brother, Bob (Joanne) Epling; sisters, Dorothy Thompson, Cloe Chaney, LaVonne "Lucy" Smith and Betty Thacker; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 10, from 3-5 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Fred Webb officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery.
