Ruth M. Brown was a lifelong resident of the Akron area. She retired from AmeriChem as a senior accountant in 1993. Ruth was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading and loved animals, often watching the birds outside her window.
She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2015, parents, John E. Lyons and Ruth E. {Graham} Lyons. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Archer of Zanesville, OH, sons, David (Jodie) of Hartville, OH, John (Janet) and Jay (Amy) both of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Mikal (Katie), Dan (Dannon), Colin, Kylie (James), Mason, Skylar and Gabriel; niece, Zoann.
Per Ruth's wishes, cremation has taken place, and she will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park with James. To leave a special message for the family please visit the guestbook below.
