Ruth Denise Dishong

Ruth Denise Dishong, age 64 of Cuyahoga Falls passed away at home, surrounded by family on Monday March 29, 2021. She was born in Akron on September 19, 1956, the daughter of the late Hardin and JoAnn {Thompson} Rich.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her sister Donna.
Ruth will be missed dearly by her husband of 24 years, Dave Dishong; children Shaun Setree; Joshua Holcomb and Shannon (Dan) Giltz; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Caren (Mike) and Theresa (Dave).
Ruth was a wonderful wife, Dave's best friend, and lover. She was a good mother and loved her family unconditionally. Ruth retired from Acme Food Stores, and loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas.
Per Ruth's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal services. To leave a message for Ruth's family, please scroll below.
