Ruth M. Ellis, 100, of Tallmadge, passed away December 31, 2006. Ruth was born on December 24, 1906 in Lancaster, OH. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and dedicated herself to her family. She was also accomplished in needlework and crocheting. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Ellis; daughters, Betty Hummel and Patricia Ellis; and son, Theodore Ellis, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Jean (James) Burnside of Woodsfield; sons, Paul Ellis of Akron and John Ellis of Kent; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 12 p.m. at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville. Online condolences may be sent to www.newcomerfamily.com.
