Ruth Fryberger Egger

Ruth Fryberger Egger (nee Ballard), "Tootie", age 101, of Canal Fulton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, on January 15, 2021 at her home.

Tootie was born on February 7, 1919 in Akron, the daughter of the late Martin and Clara (nee Lange) Ballard.

Other than her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Fryberger and her 2nd husband, Joe Egger; and her sisters, Mildred, Mabel and Ethel.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved sons, Larry, Dave (Lois) and Eddie Fryberger; her grandchildren, Lisa (Tim) Cousins, Ryane (Jamie) Mauller, David Fryberger and Duane Fryberger; and her great-grandchildren, Krista Cousins, Jenna Cousins and Bailey Hall.

Tootie is also survived by her brother, Lloyd Ballard.

Those that were blessed to have her in their lives will remember a strong, hardworking woman who loved the Lord and her family. Ruth also lived life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed!

Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Akron-Canton Food Bank, 350 Opportunity Parkway, Akron, Ohio 44307-2234 or to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
