Ruth K. Matthews, 85, passed away peacefully at home on December 10, 2006. She was born March 6, 1921 in Akron, Ohio to the late John H. & Pearl (Davis) Eiseman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Matthews, Sr.; son, Jerry H. Matthews; and 15 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Ron) Ikey of Canton; son, Fred E. Matthews of Akron; grandchildren, Ron (Karen) Ikey, Gene (Kelly) Ikey, Richard Ikey, Ginger (Scott) Bondurant, Joe (Gloria) Matthews, William (Char) Denholm, Jesse Denholm, Bethany Matthews; 11 great-grandchildren.
