Ruth E. Leifheit, 89, of Uniontown, died on April 17, 2005 at Akron City Hospital. She was born October 19, 1915 in Pomeroy, Ohio to the late William & Clara S. (Partlow) Eichinger. Ruth loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest V. Leifheit; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Joan) of Tennessee, Larry (Anne) of Deerfield, and Rodney (Joyce) of Uniontown; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Clara (Charles) Sayre of Pomeroy and Betty (William) Darst of Germantown. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. Wednesday until the service begins.
