Ruth Marie Lingenfelter, 75, passed away on July 12, 2007. She was born on April 29, 1932 in Twin Rocks, PA to the late Jay Edward and Ruth Marie Moore (King). Ruth was a long-time resident of Cuyahoga Falls and a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church and Altar Rosary Society. She was a Nursing Home advocate and volunteered for the Summit County Catholic Commission. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Leroy Lingenfelter, Sr. Survivors include daughters Kathryn L. (Brad) Johnson, Linda M. Lingenfelter, Dianna L. Fanizzi, and Phyllis J. (Gary) Latshaw; sons Thomas L., Jr. (Audrey) and Jay E.; sisters Kathleen Lesser, Phyllis (Regis) Schilling, and Mildred (Roy) Smith; brothers Albert (Jane) Moore and Jay E. (Linda) Moore, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special dog Queenie. Calling hours will be Monday 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral mass Tuesday, 11 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls with prayers at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
