Ruth M. Venham

Ruth passed away suddenly on Feb 4, 2021. A resident of Akron, she was born in 1948 in Hagerstown, MD and was known to be the most beautiful woman in the room, with her bright blue eyes, shining smile, and perfect hair and makeup, of course. She would be the first one to arrive at the hospital if you were sick, and the last one to leave to make sure you were being taken care of. She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 56 years, Gary Venham, son Brian Venham and daughter Michele (Mark) Susman. She was the proud Meemaw of Drew (Brittany Lybrook) and Lindsay Venham, and Jacob and Caleb (Heather Fox) Susman. Her best friend and sister Linda (Michael) Ginther, and brothers, James and David (Sue) Fazenbaker, always made her laugh when she wasn't feeling her best. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends held a special place in her huge heart. We know she is in Heaven, holding hands with all of her family and friends that are waiting for her. Preceded in death by father Homer Fazenbaker, mother Pearl Lee, brothers Walter and Bruce Fazenbaker, and infant son Terrence Venham. Celebration of life memorial and interment will be held on Saturday, April 17, 1:00 PM, where she will be laid to rest with her baby boy, at Tallmadge Cemetery.
