Ruth Viola Yerkey

Ruth Viola Yerkey of Akron, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2002 at Altercare of Hartville. She lived most of her life in Akron and worked at Monarch Rubber for 18 years. Ruth loved the outdoors and bonfires. She is survived by her son Duane (Pamela) Yerkey of Akron; daughters Diane (Skeeter) Taylor, Donna Stoneking both of Akron; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Rev. Phil Hulgin officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins.
