Sallie B. Fessenden

Sallie B. Fessenden, 82, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023. She was born in Whitleyville, TN on March 1, 1941. Sallie's journey began on a farm, and she subsequently transitioned into a medical equipment technician at Julius Zorn, INC., where she dedicated herself for nearly 35 years. She married at age 18 to Junior Clark. They bought an Isaly's store in Hartville, OH and ran it together. After Junior passed away unexpectedly, Sallie sold the store. She then became more active in church and met Dick Fessenden. They eventually married and adopted a little girl named Millie. Sallie later became a single parent and stayed active in church. She loved the Lord and was looking forward to meeting her Lord & Savior. Sallie enjoyed planting flowers and she had a great sense of humor

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Millie; silbings, Keith, Peggy; parents, Aubra and Wilma (Bailey) Allen. Sallie will be sadly missed by her siblings, Bev, Johnny; special friend, Paula; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; many other family members.

Family and friend are invited to visit Monday, June 19, 2023 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Grace Baptist, Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church, with Pastor Bob Stephens officiating.
