Sally M. Gray, 65, passed away August 30, 2008. Sally was a member of High Street Christian Church, Really Active People (RAP) Group and Stewarts's Caring Place. She volunteered at The University of Akron Archives. She enjoyed reading, dancing, bowling, yoga and aerobics. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ila M. Torson. She is survived by her father, James Torson; daughters, Robin (Steffen) Kory, Rebecca (Jason) Essex, Stacy Gray and Jamie Gray; brothers, James M. and Daniel Torson; and her grandchildren, Maya Kory, Trevor and Drew Essex. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the High Street Christian Church, 131 S. High St., Akron OH 44308. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Stewarts's Caring Place, 2955 W. Market Street, Akron OH 44313.
