Salvatore Maida, 94, born in Raculmuto, Agrigento, Sicily on March 13, 1918 passed away March 20, 2012.
He was a medic in the Italian Navy for 9 years during WWII and came to the United States in 1950, retired from Rockwell Mfg. in 1976.
Salvatore is survived by his wife, Theresa of Stow; sons, Joseph and Michael (Lisa); granddaughter, Sarah.
As per his wishes, he will be cremated with his ashes buried at sea.
