Sam Lipari, 87, of Akron, passed away on April 17, 2016. He was born on July 14, 1928 and proudly served in the Korean War with the US Army. Sam was an avid outdoorsman and a good Christian man.
Sam was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 48 years, Normalie; parents, Leon and Ruby Lipari; brothers, Saro and Leon; sisters, Phyllis, Frances, Esther and Mary. He is survived by son, Jim Pashki; daughters, Shelly (Ed) Karg, Traci (Gearold) Watson; grandchildren, Jason, Krista, Amber and Jerry; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Liam; sister, Lucy Labbe; best friends, Fred Conti, Frank Kegg and Joe Campetti.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11:00am at Fairhaven Baptist Church, 3575 Tisen Rd., Akron. Pastor Dave Rosenberger officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
