Samantha Sue Greathouse, age 31 of Wadsworth, Ohio, died on June 25, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Barberton, Ohio on June 1, 1988, the daughter of Michael R. Greathouse, Sr. and Tammy (nee Osborne) and Christopher Surrarrer all of Akron, Ohio.
Samantha was a homemaker who enjoyed car racing, she loved fast pitch softball, basketball, and she was a model when she was younger. Her greatest joy was being a mom and spending time with her children and family.
Other than her parents, other survivors include, her fiance, Charles "Charlie" Sears, Jr.; she was a devoted mother to her children, Hayden Sears, Oscar Nagle, Halee Sears, Chelsie Sears and Matthew Sears; her siblings, Crystal, Michael Jr., Ryan, Amber and Hunter Greathouse; and her grandparents, Betty Lowers, Kathy Greathouse, Jack Greathouse, "granny" Sandy Severance and Tom Surrarrer.
Also surviving is her fiance's family, Charlie's parents, Cindy (Brian) Stoddard and Charles Sears, Sr.; and his brother, Bryan Stoddard.
Samantha had several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends that mourn her loss as well.
Those that preceded her in death were, her sister, Miranda Goff; and her grandparents, Ernest J. Osborne and Ruth Surrarrer.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM, where Pastor Joel Cochran will celebrate Samantha's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
