Samuel J. White passed away August 23, 2008. He was born in Washington, PA on May 29, 1949 to the late Robert and Ellen (Humbert) White. Samuel was an athlete, artist, and friend. He attended Portage Path Elementary, Buchtel High School, and the University of Akron. He was employed by Pride Chevrolet, Burt Greenwald Cheverolet, and Portage Country Club. Samuel was also a member of the Summit Athletic Club and a volunteer at the Civic Theatre. Samuel is survived by his brothers, Robert (Sandra) White of Cuyahoga Falls, and David White of Akron; sister, Susan White of Copley; nieces, Kimberly (Jim), Jennifer (Matthew), and Anjelique; nephew Dominik; great-nephews, Ryan and Kyle and great niece Tahler Ellen Mai. Visitation hours will be Wednesday, September 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME 131 N Canton Rd, Akron.
