Samuel Jess Puckett, 71, went Home to be with the Lord August 18, 2021 with his family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Jess and Helen (Koval) Puckett, he was a lifelong area resident. Sam greatly enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, playing the guitar, going to his trailer at Seneca Lake and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley. He will be sadly missed by his loving partner of 25 years, Toni Haser; brother, Chuck (Zena) Puckett; nieces, Elizabeth (James) Dawson, Judy Hilty; nephew, Bill Bramen; daughter, Brandi (Keith) Hosey; grandchildren, Paiton, Kelsey, Griffin; many cousins and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Sam's name to the American Cancer Society or the charity of their choice.
