Samuel Vernon Neal, 62, of Akron, passed away October 19, 2013. He was born in Akron, OH on June 9, 1951. Sam was employed at the Akron Beacon Journal for 35 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Neal. Sam is survived by his mother, Joanne; daughters, Amy (Ed) Doney, Angela Wayand; grandchildren, Mathew, Michael, Mason, Mitchell, Ethan, Nolan; sisters, Sandy and Marcia, brother, Thomas Jr. (Waunetta).
