Sandra Evelyn Bishop

Sandra Evelyn "Sandi" Bishop, 72 , passed away peacefully at home October 21, 2023 in Mogadore, Ohio. She was born May 12, 1951 to Luther and Dorothy Steele. Sandi was known for her love of animals, being outdoors and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Sandi was preceded in death by her brother, John Steele. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 37 years, Bill Bishop; daughter, Debi (Lewis) VanLandingham; grandchildren, James, Joy, Jessica, Julia, Jordan and Jane; great grandchildren, Eva and Gideon; brother, Larry Steele.

Sandi's family thanks Crossroads Hospice for their guidance, knowledge and compassion.

Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, November 10, 2023 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Sandi's name to One of a Kind Pet Rescue.
