Sandra Lee Campbell (nee Burkett)

Sandra "Sandy" Campbell (nee Burkett), 64, of Ellet, passed away on March 10, 2007, after a long battle with cancer. Sandy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in Akron, Ohio on February 9, 1943 and graduated in 1961 from Ellet High School. She attended Hammel-Actual Business College where she met her life partner, Bill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Evelyn Burkett. She will be sadly missed by her husband, William "Bill" Campbell of Akron; son James Campbell of Brimfield; daughter Shari Campbell Lotz and son-in-law, William Lotz of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Michael Lotz; and many loving family members and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at Heather Knoll, Hospice of Summa, Dr. Joseph Koenig and his staff, and Gina Myers. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305.
