Sandra L. Cooper, 74, of Stow, passed away on March 18, 2024. She was born in Akron on September 28, 1949 to Ross and Elizabeth {Royka} Cooper.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brother Tom Cooper.
Sandra is survived by her loving daughters, Pam (Frank Sheline) Cooper and Kris (David) Richard; sister, Becki (Garrett) Scott; brother Christopher Cooper; grandsons, Dylan (Marie) Thompson and Orion Foldessy; great-granddaughter Parker Thompson; nephew Andy (Jeni) Cooper; great-niece Anna Cooper; sister-in-law Marilyn Cooper-Skowron.
Sandra graduated with honors from The University of Akron with her Bachelor's degree in Social Work, and had a gratifying career in the long-term care industry. In her free time, she enjoyed visiting the beach, tending to her garden, and watching the birds.
Her ready smile and warm demeanor opened the doors to many friendships over the years, and she became particularly popular at Altercare of Western Reserve.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Sandra's longtime nurse John, the Altercare of Western Reserve staff, and the nurses of Crossroads Hospice for their compassionate care over the years, and especially the last few months.
