Sandra K. Marstellar, 63, passed away quietly in her sleep on February 27, 2011. Sandra was born in Erwin, TN, and was a lifelong resident of Akron, where she graduated from Kenmore High School. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts, especially making homemade greeting cards for her friends and family. Sandra loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, George E. "Ed" Marcus; and brother, Bradley Marcus. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Daniel; children, Scott Marstellar and Wendy (Sean) Boyd; grandchildren, Ben and Luke Boyd; mother, Rosa Lee Marcus; brother, Michael (Cindy) Marcus; and many other loving family members. Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 3, from 4 to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will follow at 7 pm with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating.
